Accessibility statement
A site about childhood that speaks to every family must be readable by every family. Our goal is WCAG 2.2 conformance at level AA. An internal audit on September 5, 2026 verified what is actually in place on the live site; here is what it found.
What is verified
Six points the September 5 audit verified
Graded headings with no level skipped, clear page landmarks, and a skip-to-content link on every page.
Every interactive element operates with the keyboard alone, with a clear visible focus state, and no focused element hidden from view.
Text colors meet the required contrast ratios against their backgrounds, as our audit actually verified against the shipped code.
Every decorative motion turns off automatically when the user enables the reduced-motion preference in their system, and no content depends on motion to be understood.
The Arabic and English editions are equivalent in content, with correct language and direction tagging, down to the translated names of scenes inside the illustrations.
Every figure carries an internal text description, and no information travels by color alone.

Two known limitations, still open
With JavaScript disabled, the not-found page loses its correct language and direction tagging. We are working on a fix.
We have not yet fully tested the site under forced-colors mode, which some users rely on. It is on our upcoming work list.
