What we can prove
This page carries only three kinds of statement, and we want you to know which one you are reading. You will not find client logos or impact percentages here, because that is a choice, not a shortage. What we can prove gets published; what we cannot prove yet stays unpublished.
A reading guide
Three kinds of statement
1 What we have made
Work that exists today, with its real links where one exists: a platform you can open yourself, or an experience real children have already lived. It is the only kind we describe in the past tense.
2 What we are trying
Work in progress, described by its stage rather than its date: in development, or being prepared for manufacturing. We do not write a launch date before we can actually keep it.
3 What we hold to
A method we work by, not a result we promise: story before technology, a prototype tested before launch, and the child as the final judge. This kind needs no number to be true.

A promise, not a record
Seven sections no project publishes without
This is our standard for any work we describe publicly one day, not an account of a project that has already happened.
1 Context and objective
The objective is written as a clear, measurable statement before any design, not after.
2 Hypothesis
What exactly we are betting on, and why we think it holds, written down before we start.
3 Method and application
Which method was used, how, and under what consent if real children took part.
4 What was built
The list of deliverables as they actually shipped, not as they are later retold.
5 Measured results
Numbers from a declared measurement tool, with at least one guardrail metric watching for possible harm.
6 Interpretation and its limits
What we read the numbers to mean, and what these numbers explicitly do not prove.
7 Lessons
What we would do differently next time, written down even when it is uncomfortable.
Before every number
Evidence grades
This is Dawani's own scale for the evidence behind a number or a claim, not an official rating from any body. Its grade appears under every post's title and in every tool's result.
A National data or strong evidence reviews
The highest grade: a figure from an official national source, or a summary of multiple scientific reviews that agree on one finding. An example is a figure from the statistics authority, in its own original publication.
B Several consistent studies
One step below national data: a finding repeated across more than one independent study, with no contradiction between them. An example is the intrinsic-motivation literature.
C A professional standard or guidance
What a professional body or a specialised organisation has published as general guidance, not as a direct measurement of Dawani's own work. An example is World Health Organization guidance.
D Dawani's own practice
A fixed way we work by, not measured by an outside study, but written down and clear to anyone who asks about it. An example is five stages and four laws.
Hypothesis A hypothesis Dawani is still testing
An idea we hold to be true but that no completed measurement has proven yet; we say so plainly, on that basis. An example is the Screen Value Score.
Questions about this page
Questions about evidence and proof
Why doesn't this page publish user numbers or client names?
Because every number we publish needs a source we can show to anyone who asks. When that source does not exist yet, we prefer an honest silence to a number that sounds convincing and does not hold up.
Does "in development" or "in preparation" mean a launch date is close?
No. Both phrases describe a stage of work, not a date. We write a date only once we can keep it; until then, the stage is the only thing we say.
What is the difference between what you are "trying" and what you "hold to"?
What we are trying is one specific piece of work, with a stage that moves forward or stalls. What we hold to is a fixed way of working that does not change from project to project, such as real children trying every piece of work before it launches.
Will numbered case studies be added in the future?
Once a completed piece of work has its owner's consent to publish and a clear source for every number in it, we add it under the same documentation standard listed above. Until then we leave the space empty rather than fill it with numbers that do not hold up.
