1 A public objective becomes a design question
We start from your objective as you wrote it, and turn it into one specific question: what do we want to change for the child?
2 The prototype is tested before any commitment
A plain gray prototype is built and tested by real children with their parents' consent before any full build.
3 Impact is measured against the original goal
After launch we measure impact against the goal we started from, not against the minutes a child spent inside the experience.
Before a first conversation
Questions government bodies often ask
What do we need to bring to a first understanding conversation?
An honest description of the public objective, who among children or teens lives it, and any existing evidence or prior attempts. You do not need a full requirements document at this stage.
How is children's safety kept inside a program for a government body?
By the same commitments published on our safety page: minimal data, no addictive techniques, and a clear role for parents in every experience we design, for a government body or anyone else.
Does the deliverable have to be an app?
No. The deliverable might be a behavioral program with no digital product, a field experience, or a measurement frame for a program you already run. The form follows the goal, not the other way around.
