Our services

What we do for government bodies, companies and nonprofits

Dawani is a Saudi studio that makes children's experiences, and alongside that builds its own tools and frameworks published for anyone to use. We work in three groups: we build digital products for children, we design programmes and initiatives for anyone whose target is the child, and we review and research for anyone who needs an independent eye or knowledge of their market.

What we promise

  • A person on the team reads your message, not an automated system, and we get back to you within a few working days.
  • If a request is outside our field or works against the child's interest, we say so plainly and give the reason, rather than take on work we would not do well.
  • We build no final version before a plain gray prototype has been tested with real children, with their parents' consent, as our process page describes.
  • In everything we make we collect as little data as possible, and we design no daily streaks and no random rewards that measure success by a child's inability to stop.
  • We agree the scope and the deliverables in writing before any commitment, and the proposal names what is out of scope as clearly as what is in it.

What we do not promise

  • A delivery time before we understand the request, or a price published on the site; every proposal is built on its own case.
  • A guaranteed outcome for the child; we promise a success indicator and a guardrail indicator agreed before we start, not a result.
  • A legal compliance certificate or a legal opinion; our reviews are an independent Dawani framework, and the applicable law belongs to its own authorities.
  • Investment advice; a due-diligence review describes the product, the team and the evidence, and recommends neither buying nor selling.

To read our full method there is the process page, and to read what we can actually prove there is the what we can prove page.

For anyone building a product a child will use

We build

Children's app design and development in Saudi Arabia

For a brand or body building an app the child opens with their own hand: how do we design it to be safe from the first screen?

See the service

Educational game design for children

For anyone with an educational goal who wants it as play, not explanation: how do we turn it into a rule the child masters through repetition?

See the service

Safe digital platforms for children

For a body building a platform children will use: how do we design it with minimal data and no daily streaks?

See the service

Designing and reviewing AI products for children

For a brand adding AI to a children's product: what role is safe for it, and how does the child know it is not a person?

See the service

For anyone targeting the child with a programme

We design programmes

Children's programmes and initiatives for government bodies

For a government body with a public objective concerning children: how do we turn it into a programme the child actually lives?

See the service

Behaviour-change programmes for children

For anyone who wants to change a specific behaviour in children, not only raise awareness: how do we design a programme that achieves that?

See the service

Children's experiences and events

For a brand wanting a real moment on the ground the child and their family live together: how do we design it by the same method?

See the service

Impact measurement for children's and teens' programmes

For a body running an existing programme who wants to know its real impact: how do we measure it with an indicator that holds up for the funder and the child alike?

See the service

For anyone who needs an independent eye

We review and research

Child digital product safety review

For a brand with an existing product children use: how do we review it with an independent eye before their users' parents ask about it?

See the service

UX research and testing with children

For a product team who wants the child's own opinion, not an assumption about it: how do we design a test session that reaches their real opinion?

See the service

Market research on children in Saudi Arabia and the Gulf

For an investor or brand wanting to understand the Saudi and Gulf children's market: where is the real gap, by evidence, not impression?

See the service

Due diligence for children's products and companies

For an investor before a funding round in a children's company: how do we describe the product, the team and the evidence, with no recommendation to buy or sell?

Questions often asked about our services

Which page do I start from if my situation spans several services?

Start with the form at the bottom of this page and describe your situation plainly; we are the ones who work out which service or mix of services fits it, once we understand it.

Can our relationship start with a specific, small service, and expand later?

Yes. The relationship often starts with a specific service, and expands to others once we prove together that it works.

Where do I find a price or a delivery time for a specific service?

You will not find them on the site. Every proposal is built on its own case once we understand the request, since a price set in advance assumes a general case fits everyone, and none does.
