Child digital product safety review
We review your children's digital product against the axes of the Dawani Child-Safe Design framework, for a product team or organisation that wants an independent opinion before or after launch. We review with the same discipline we hold ourselves to in our own craft: a plain gray prototype tested with real children with their parents' consent, as little data as possible, and a candid opinion that names what does not work as clearly as what does.

How the service runs
Four stages, a gate after each
1 Understanding the goal
We read your product and the age band it serves, and identify which of the framework’s axes matter most for your case before any commitment.
Gate: This stage ends once we agree with you, in writing, on the age band and the axes covered.
2 A written frame
We write the review’s scope and expected deliverables, naming what is included and what is not.
Gate: This stage ends once you approve the scope in writing before we start actually reading the product.
3 Walking and testing the axes
We walk the framework's axes decision by decision, and propose which of them to test with a small group of real children, with their parents' consent.
Gate: This stage ends once we finish walking the agreed axes and any testing that accompanied them.
4 Delivery and measurement
We deliver the ordered list of decisions to fix first, and an indicator you can use to check the effect of the fix once it is made.
Gate: This stage does not close until you hold a list of decisions you have signed off on, not a draft awaiting a reply.

No, the score is a quick starting point you can skip, and our review goes deeper: it tests with a small group of real children and ends with ordered decisions.
Do you review a product that has not launched yet?
Yes, and that is often the better time: the decisions the review surfaces are cheaper to fix before launch than after.
What do we show a regulator or an investor who asks about our product's safety?
You show an independent Dawani review describing the design decisions and the order in which they should be fixed; it is not a legal compliance certificate and not a certification from any body.
