How does it score, and what does it not claim?
The score walks the twelve axes of the Dawani Child-Safe Design framework, with two or three questions each. You answer yes, partly, no, or not applicable. An axis you mark not applicable leaves the calculation entirely, so a product with no social features is never marked down for having no blocking flow. Each axis is scored from its own answers, and the overall number is the mean of the applicable axes, with no axis weighted above another. The result ends with the three axes to fix first and with what to test with children before launch. It is a self-assessment that runs in your browser: nothing is sent anywhere, and it is neither a legal compliance assessment nor a certification.
What this tool does not claim
This is an independent Dawani framework, not a government standard. The result is a self-assessment the team answers about itself, not a legal compliance assessment and not a certification from any body. A high score means the product is ready for a final review, not that it is safe for children.

No. The whole assessment runs inside your browser, with no server receiving your answers and no copy kept.
Is this result a certification or a legal compliance assessment?
No. This is a self-assessment inside a Dawani framework, not a certification from any body, and not a compliance assessment under a personal data law or any other regime.
Who on the team should answer this assessment?
Whoever knows both the design details and the data, not one person alone, and then the answers are reviewed with whoever owns the launch decision.
