A Dawani service

Children's experiences and events

We design a real-world experience or an event a family lives together, instead of an ad in disguise. We build a gray prototype and test it with real children, with their parents’ consent, and design a clear role for parents inside every experience.

What you get

  • A story given priority over the technical fix, fit to be the basis of an experience or event.
  • A justified choice of shape: an app, a game, or a real-world station.
  • A gray prototype tested with real children before any final production.
  • A clear role for parents inside the experience, not mere accompaniment from the outside.

How we work

We start from your brand's goal and the child's age, and use the Parent Trust Index to test how well what we design fits them. We then build a gray prototype tested with real children before any final production, under the same law that puts the story before the brand mark.

When the shape is an app or a game, we also review it against the Dawani Child-Safe Design framework. Treasure Island, a savings experience delivered in a number of Saudi cities, is an example of such an experience on the ground.

When you need this service

Situations where you need an experience on the ground

An occasion that gathers the family

You have an occasion or season you want children and their parents to attend together, not the child alone.

A brand goal that needs a real moment

You have a brand goal that needs a real moment on the ground parents trust, not another ad on a screen.

An event idea with no shape decided yet

You have an event idea, and need to know which shape serves it best: an app, a game, or a real-world station.

How the service runs

Four stages, a gate after each

1 Understanding the goal

We listen to your brand's goal, the children's age and the setting the experience will happen in, before any talk of its shape.

Gate: Understanding leaves this stage once we agree on the goal and the age together, not the goal alone.

2 Written framing

We write a document naming the proposed shape and its reason, and the experience's story before any technical detail.

Gate: The document leaves this stage once you approve the story and the shape in writing before any production.

3 Gray prototype and testing with children

We build a simple, undecorated version of the experience, and real children and their parents try it with their consent.

Gate: The prototype leaves this stage once the fun itself is proven before any costly production.

4 Delivery and measurement

We deliver the experience or event, and measure its impact against the goal you started from, not against attendance alone.

Gate: This stage does not end on the event's day; what we learned from the children carries into any future version of it.

In scope and out of scope

A comparison separating designing the experience from producing the event itself.
AspectIn scopeOut of scope
The outcomeWe agree what the child and their parents should feel inside the experience. We do not guarantee an attendance count or a specific level of engagement.
Duration and priceWe agree the scope and deliverables in writing before any commitment. No delivery time before we understand the request, and no price published on the site.
Event productionWe design the experience, its story, and the role the child and parents play inside it.We do not handle the venue booking, its permits, or its full logistical organisation.
Legal complianceWe review the experience against Dawani's independent safety framework. We issue no legal compliance certificate and no legal opinion.

Questions often asked about this service

Does this service include organising the event itself (venue and permits), or only designing the experience?

We design the experience, its story, and the role the child and parents play inside it; booking the venue, its permits and its logistics fall outside what we provide.

Is the experience designed for one age only, or do family members live it together?

We start from the target child's age, but the design usually opens a role for parents inside the experience itself, not only a seat to watch from.

What remains of the experience after the event is over?

We design what the child carries home from the start: an action they repeat, something they made with their own hands, or a story they tell their parents. An experience that ends with the day is measured by attendance alone, and we want to measure what changed.
