How does it score, and what does it not claim?
The tool starts from a broad outcome you write in your own words. It then asks eight short questions: the age band, the place, who is with the child, the form of the work, who is asking for it, the outcome family, the rhythm of contact, and what the child gets to decide. It gives your sentence back inside quotation marks, then builds a behavioural goal shaped as “When … can the child …?”, a design question, and the situation. It adds two or three candidate mechanics from Dawani’s library with the risk of each, a proximal success indicator, a guardrail that names the possible harm, and the limit of the evidence. A readiness score shows which part is still vague. The result is a first hypothesis to test with children, not a program design.
What this tool does not claim
The output is a first hypothesis worth testing with real children, not a full program design or an implementation plan. The tool guarantees no outcome, and does not say the suggested mechanic will succeed, only that it deserves a try. The outcome sentence you write is echoed back exactly inside quotation marks, never interpreted or rewritten.

No. Your sentence and every answer stay inside your browser, and are not sent to Dawani or to any other server.
Is the output a ready-to-run program design?
No. The output is a first hypothesis worth testing with real children, not an implementation plan and not a guarantee of any outcome.
What do I do with the hypothesis the tool gives back?
Bring it to your team as a starting point for discussion, and build a small gray prototype from it to test with children before any full build.
